First, second and a bit of third semester can be hell. It is very manageable if you can organize your time well to finish your assignments, projects, and labs. And most importantly, you should take care of yourself. Take breaks in between.
When applying to jobs as a student, I feel that some jobs are looking for people who are willing to learn. Don’t be afraid of applying to jobs where you don’t meet all of the requirements. For my last co-op position, I applied to a Software Dev role despite doing pretty bad in all my programming courses in uni and having zero to no experience in the stack that they’re using. The job description can look discouraging but if you can show the hiring manager that you’re confident in your skills they may like you more than someone who does have those experiences. I ended up getting a return offer :D.
