Awful Experience Poor Professors Hated All Courses Very Heavy Work Load Awful Admin Support

Complete waste of time and money. Most of the courses consist of watching youtube videos and listening to the professors stroke their massive egos. The only courses that actually teach you anything valuable are the editing courses, of which there are only 2 in the entire program. This program DOES NOT prepare you for the realities of working in film and television. It teaches you how to make indie short films. I started working for IATSE after graduation and was laughed at when I mentioned I went to film school. The attitude towards film school in the industry is “you could have just started working in film and television”. I had to re-learn how to be a grip because most of what I learned at George Brown was wrong. Do not waste 2 years of your life like I did.

If you're thinking about joining this program because you want to be an editor, don't make the same mistake I did and please look elsewhere.
